Meet Cash

Meet Cash
He showed up the way most important things do — without much warning and with an air of complete confidence that he belonged.
Cash is a rescue cat with a white heart on his chest and hustle in his paws. He works from home, keeps his own hours, and makes the occasional unannounced appearance on a video call.
He's also the reason this blog exists.
Reaching out to a financial advisory firm is rarely something people look forward to when they are in the middle of a difficult time. Words like fiduciary and fee-only may offer some degree of comfort. But when someone is navigating a major life change or is having trouble understanding their own financial picture, they simply want answers in a way that makes sense to them without judgment.
Cash is no different, except his curiosity forces him to ask the questions that others tend to avoid. Best of all, Cash does so with candor and absolutely no shame. His thoughts may mirror some of the topics that crossed your own mind, but you're not sure where to ask.
That's how we're trying to be a resource here, by expanding financial literacy.
The Curious Fiduciary contains Cash's observations on money, life, and the things worth paying attention to. Some posts will be practical — dates, checklists, things to know before the end of the year. Others will be slower. About how people actually make financial decisions and what sometimes gets in the way.
We'll see where the trail goes and hope you learn something.
We'll see where the trail goes.
